Emergency Changes?

September 4, 2014

Hey everyone......

Well this weeek was fulllllll of changes haha. There have been some small problems in the mission and we have been doing a ton of emergency changes. We've done 7 now in these 2 weeks which is CRAZY! It has been fun though. We are getting to know each other really well in the car and hanging out with the other missionaries. I have really come to love them lately. It has been good for me.

Just working hard as usual. We have had a ton of divisions lately. I'm trying to work with all the elders from my group that I can in this change just so I can see how each one of us has grown. It is pretty sick. I love all those guys from my group!

We have a couple families that are progressing right now. Familia A ( They went to church this week and we are looking to baptize them on the 21st! Also with the V family, we are fighting with them so that they can get baptized! It is such an awesome family and we are getting serious so they get it done! Also Familia Y they are getting ready right now also for the 21st! There was some emergencies with the mother in law and they had to go out of town but when they come back, they'll be wet!!!

I'm just trying to throw it down. I made it a goal to not get into the house in the night without sweating my butt off. I like to sweat so much that it gets into my eyes and burns my eyes haha it's a little weird but it makes me feel good with the limited hours that we have to work.

I love you all so much! Thank you all so much for your support and everythign that you do for me! HAve a great week!!!!!

SUMERGEME EN EL RIO DE TU ESPIRITU

August 28, 2014

Well hey eveyone....

Sorry my emails get crappier and crappier. I am trying so hard to remember what is going on haha.

This week was so crazy. We had changes and that was so crazy. We always have a ton of stuff to do for that. On tuesday night we were in the office till 2 getting everything ready for changes and had to wake up at 4 to get all the noobs ready for the meeting. Talk about running on fumes. I was not even baggy seeing Elder Finch's mom..... soooo okay fine I was totally baggy. But it's all good. Then the next day we had to take them all the the airport in the morning to get them off. Super weird haha.

So this week we have literally been around the whole mission. We have done 4 emergency changes in the last 3 days and had two days of splits with the zone leaders. I have driven like 24 hours this week haha. It is fun but it is super tiring. But me and Elder Oseguera are having a ton of fun. It is weird without Elder Finch, but we're getting along haha. We ran into him a bunch of times killing it with his mom. It didn't even make me baggy don't worry....

If you haven't gone out on your missions, DON'T LEAVE UNLESS YOU'RE WORTHY!!! Man I have seen so many cases with missionaries that don't come out worthy and they just end up going home. Other than costing the church a ton of money that could be used for other stuff, it just sucks to have to go home and try to explain what's going on. It is so much better to just talk to the bishop and take care of the things that you have to take care of and wait and then get out! Don't do it!!

Going up to Sololá yesterday, we went to eat with the P family for lunch. It was soooo sick. I love going to El Tejar haha. There is something so special about that place! We just called them going up and they were like "yeah come on up!" Sick family. Such a blessing to be able to get to know so many people.

Elder Whitaker went home last week which was super weird. He entered the mission with me. It made me feel super old. I love that guy so much!

Man I'm loving it right now. I love the mission. I love these people so much. Thank you for everything you do for me! Have a good week! I LOVE YOU!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANK!!!!!!! Sickest 9 year old everrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

guat's up

August 22, 2014

Well Elder Finch is officially gone..... SO WEIRD!!!!

Things are going to be different around here haha. But we are going to have a great change and I am going to work my butt off! The goal for this change is baptize 12 people! I know that we are going to do it!

Changes were so crazy haha. We were up the night before getting everything ready to do until 2 and we had to wake up at 4 to get everything ready for the morning haha it was insane and we were more than tired! But it was a fun night. It was sooooooo weird seeing Elder Finch's mom. But it was really cool for him.

Elder Hernandez is the new secretary, which is awesome! Me and Elder Oseguera are together solos right now, so we'll see how that goes! Should be awesome.
We have a lot of investigators progressing right now. The Lord is blessing us a lot. We are working hard and the Lord is picking up the slack. I love it here. I'm so sorry that my emails are sucking so bad haha. I just don't remember anything at all. My mind is turning to mush. So when I get home, we can just read my journal! I love you so much! Thank you so much for everything you do. Let me know if there's anything you need from here! LOVE YOU!!!!!

HEy

August 16, 2014

Hey I love you......

Well we got it done.

We had a fun week this week haha. We had zone conferences that were so BOMB! We talked about obedience which was super awesome.

My birthday was soooo great!

Today for P-day we went to El Tejar with President because he wanted to make brick. We went up there and I was able to see all of the loved ones over there. I was sooooo baggy. Man I love that place! I'll send pictures.

SOOOOOOO WEIRD to think that toda la mara is home (brody, Parker, Chris, Haden) I can't even imagine that haha. That make me so baggy. Gus is soooo tall too.

I have nothing to say. I am so sorry. I promise I will tell you more cool stuff when it isn't 11:30 and I remember. It was soooo sick to go up to the Tejar. Tons of miracles are happening. We have another 2 baptisms tomorrow!!!! C and A. It is going to be a great sunday. One of my investigators that I worked with really hard in Prados is getting baptized and we are going to be able to go up and see it. I'm stoked for tomorrow! I will send you pics.

Also I got a sick flattop haircut just for Elder Finch because he goes home in 4 days!!!!!!!! SWWEEETTTT. LOVE YOU!!!!!!!

sweet.

August 6, 2014

Hi everyone.....

Questions:
1.  What sad day does Finch go home?

He bounces on the 20th! He will be up there for my homecoming haha and if he's not, he's told me that I can kill him
2.  Any chance Luis could get taught and baptized when we go down?  What would need to happen?

He would have to go to church 3 times before and all of the charlas. We will see what we can do. I think that we are going to go and make bricks with president and I will see if we can pass by.

3.  Tell us about your mission travels.  It would be fun for me to hear where you have been.  We had to leave the country a few times to get Fe de edades.  Do you have to do that?

No we can't do that. Now if they want that stuff from other countries, they have to go do it themselves. We did have to go down to Tiquisate (super far zone) and drop off some money to the elders that had gotten robbed hard core. It was sooooo awesome. It was actually super funny because they saw the guy take stuff out of the  house and they just stood there with their mouths open. We jsut have a lot of late night runs to the office and to do stuff around the mission and that is sick!

We had a siiiiiiiiiick experience last night with President Duncan (the President of the area) and it was me and Elder Finch, The assistants from the east mission and the sister trainer leaders from the south mission were invited to a metting at the CCM to answer questions from the youngins. One of the most spiritual things that I've done in my whole mission. Man it was SSSOOOOO COOOLLL!!! It was a great time there. The CCM is soooo different from what it was when I was there. The coolest thing that happened was that at the first of the meeting I just had a thought how cool it would be to see someone that I knew, as we finished the meeting, a tall skinny Elder came up to me and said, "Are you Gabe Hanson's brother?" I looked down at his name tag and saw that it said "Elder Dunshee". Chad Dunshee! Gabe's young friend. Man it was so cool. He just thanked me for my testimony and it was the coolest thing ever. A little miracle/tender mercy. Then we had to take the sisters from the South mission home in the truck which was a little interesting hahha but it was an awesome night. Super super memorable.

We baptized this weekend! C got baptized and it was so cool. In all the pictures she wanted us to bend down because she is soooooo short! She is 28 years old and looks like she is 18 haha. She is such an awesome girl.

Highlight of the week! Tomorrow we are going to the temple with the most chosen person that I've ever known in my life, A! She is so happy. Me and Elder Hernandez baptized her and he son in El Carmen and now the rest of their family has gotten baptized pretty much. She is a single mom and she is the most awesome lady ever. It is going to be an awesome thing to go totomorrow! I'm seriously so stoked!!!!!!!!

I don't really remember anything that happened this week. But is was a great one. I love you all so much and am so thankful for you and what you do for me! I'll send pictures of my suit next email! I just haven't taken any of the suit yet! I love you!!!!!!!!!

What's up youuuuu??

August 1, 2014

Hi everyone.....
Well this week was absolutely crazy! We have been soooo busy and all over the mission and I love it!
Dad I love the itinerary but we need to sneak some time to go to Prados and to my area right now, we'll find some time because it is all super close to each other and there are a couple families in every area. The day of changes I don't know what we are going to do exactly but it won't be a day for us to go do what we want, we are just in President's house and are with all of the missionaries that go home. But it is looking super bomb and President is supre stoked haha. You have to find Marvin Gomez!
We had a great week this week. We baptized D and V and it was a great baptismal service. They were so happy and it was so great to see them make this covenant with our Heavenly Father that makes it so they will be able to open the doors to heaven. We will baptize this Sunday also, a girl named C. She's sooo sick haha. We've got some good investigators. My goal is to baptize every single sunday until I go home. WE GON DO IT!!!!
This huge family of 8 native Guatemalans went to church on sunday!!!! Theya re the funniest people  in the whole world. They loved it so much and they are looking to be baptized on the 10 or the 17. Man they are so awesome. WE GON BAPTIZE THEM!!!!
That is so awesome that you got to go to President's thing. Man I learned so much from them. They were the biggest flechones that I have ever met in my life. I will never forget the things that they taught to me in groups and personally. I love them.
I got the other package with my credit card and a crap tone more of candy! Loved it! Thank you so much for that. Sorry for making it such a hassle haha. I promise I didn't mean it! If you could, try and put some money on to the card for the suit.  Love you!
It surprisingly wasn't a huge weight with Gabe's death anniversary this yesterday. I don't know what it is but I just feel like the fact that I'm in the mission keeps me super protected. That's one of the biggest reasons that I am scared to go home, I just don't know  how I'm going to react to Gabe not being there. Not excited for that.
We just finished helping President with the changes for the mission. Super cool process. The Spirit is super strong with those kinds of things. You just kind of do it and it works. Super cool privilege.
Man I love it out here. It's the best place in the world. The people are so awesome. The missionaries are the best (no argument). President is the best. Man I am so blessed haha. Saber porque. I love you all. Thank you so much for all that you do! This is true!!! ba pues MUCHÂ
Sorry my letters suck. My mind is turning into mush and I don't remember anything haha. LOVE YOU!!!!
Dropping one of my CCM buddies off at the airport...... weird haha WHAAAAATTTTTTT 2 months from today..... baggy? NEVER!!!!

heeeeyyyyyyy

July 19, 2014

heyyyyy everyone.....

Well this week has been sooooooo crazy. I honestly don't know or remember if I already wrote you this week haha. But if I already did, who cares right?

We have been going super hard this week with interviews and we were all over the whole mission. We went to Antigua, Tiquisate, Chimaltenango, Villa Hermosa and El Frutal to go and give blessings to all of the missionaries with President which was really cool. I love being with all the other missionaries and trying to get to know them a little bit better. i feel like I don't know anyone because everyone that I knew, already went home haha. It was a great time.

I've been learning a lot from President Markham and Hermana Markham. I love one thing that President always says "It doesn't matter what happens to you, just how you deal with it." I love that. I feel like I've tried to live that during my whole mission. We can't control our circumstances but we can control how we react! It's been such a blessing to be able to kill it with President. I love just feeling like we can be ourselves with him. He's so hilarious and we have the blessing to learn a lot from him.

We went to the temple this morning with one of Elder Finch's converts and it was the sickest thing ever. They got their endowments out and they got sealed! It was so awesome and so dang baggy. We are super spiritualy drained right now haha. It was one of the best days that I had had in the temple in my whole life. The Spirit was super strong and me and Elder Finch talked about some really awesome stuff. Great day in the temple. President always teaches us to take as much as we can from the temple and take it into our lives. It was ssswwweeeetttttt.

Tomorrow we are going to baptize a girl named D. She has been an investigator forever and she has finally decided to be baptized! That is going to be awesome for her tomorrow. Her parents hate the church a lot and when her older sister got baptized a little while back, they kicked her out of the house and didn't let her come back for a long time. It was crazy! That will be good for tomorrow.

My testimony is growing every day. We are learning so many things that are making us more and more sure about what we are doing and that what we are doing is true. I love it so much. I know that it is all true. I know it without a doubt. It is crazy how one comes into the mission with a little bit of a shaky testimony and as the time goes by and how we grow in every single way.

I've been driving a lot lately and I love it haha. The drivers suck so bad here. It's not at all like it is iin the states. They love to honk. So if I get back honking at every single person that even comes within 20 feet of me, don't freak out.

We have interviews all this week too. We have not gotten a lot of sleep and we haven't worked a ton, but the miracles in the mission just keep coming. It's such a blessing to be able to work in El Carmen and find people that weren't ready when i was first there and to see how they have changed and how they are looking more and more ready to accept this Gospel. I love it here. i love my companions and I love being with President. I couldn't think of a better situation to be able to finish it off. Oh and we're going to baptize like crazy this change.... I LOVE GUATEMALA!!!!

I love you so much!! Thank you for everything that you do for me! I love you. Thank you. Jesus.

Well These are some pictures of this past week and our adventures!

A week of surprisesssssss

July 14, 2014

Hey everyone......

Well here are the questions.......

Preguntas
1.  Give us your new responsibilities day to day.  Maybe a sketch of your day as an AP.
Well thus far it has been pretty crazy haha. We don't sleep much and when we have time to work, we have to go sooooo hard. it is so nice to be with President and his wife and learn from them just like being in the car or something, it is going to be a great time with them. This week we took the ones that were going home to the airport at like 3 in the morning and we have interviews with the whole mission in the next two weeks. I don't  know how much I'm going to be able to email but I'll get one out at least once a week to you guys. Huge humbling opportunity.
2.  Money.  Getting you a debit card might be tough in the time you have left.  Is there a western Union where we can wire you money for your remaining time?  I'm going to talk to Elder Hunt today when I see him about this. I'll tell him to hit you guys up with an email. But the sister here said that in 3 weeeks it gets down to here. I don't really know much about that. But I will let you know how you can get it down to me best.
3.  Tell us about your new area and ward.  I imagine they're downright sick of you in that Stake, huh?
Well, I am now working in El Carmen....!!!! YEEEESSSSSSS President gave me permission to go up there and work and I am soooooooo happy. I am now in Boca del Monte, El Porvenir and El Carmen. We sort of just roam and go wherever we want. It is soooooooo sweet.
4.  Do you travel with the Pres. to Zone conferences?  Do you speak at most conferences?  Yeah we are always in that kind of stuff. We do practices with all the missionaries all the time. These 2 weeks we have to be in interviews with President with all the zones in the mission and that is going to be sweet. It is just a sweet oppotunity.

Well We are doing good. I actually have 2 companions right now, Elder Finch and Elder Oseguera from Honduras. Elder Finch will go home this change and Elder Oseguera and I will stay when he leaves. Man I am loving it right now. Super blessed and happy to be here and super stoked to be able to learn all that i am going to learn in these next few months.

I'm excited to be able to drive haha. That is going to be sooooo cool. We had interviews with Villa Hermosa today and that was good. I think one of the best parts of being here is that I am in my old ward and my old area. YES! Man yesterday was awesome in church and to see all of my converts in church and see all of the members in the ward. All of yesterday me and Elder Finch worked in El Carmen and that was so cool to be able to show Elder Finch around a little bit up there (we got  permission yesterday to be able to go up there)! Boom! Super excited.

President Markham is awesome. I had a great interview with him today and we talked about a lot of stuff. He talked to be about a lot of stuff and we talked a lot about Gabe and some stuff with that and he has similar experiences. Very spiritual. I love Hermana Markham. She reminds me sooooooo much of mom when I see him and talk to her.

I'm just stoked to be with Elder Finch again haha. We are going to kill it so much. We will baptize too. We should have a baptism this weekend. Man I love it here. This place is so sick.

I love you all. I am so thankful for you and everything that you guys do for me. All the support and the prayers. Thank you! I love you. Thank you, Jesus!

I don't have any pictures at all haha. I will try and send you some next week! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!4

EARTHQUAKKKKEEEE!!!

July 8, 2014
Well Hey everyone....

Preguntas profundas:
1.  Did you eat any Zompopos de Mayo? NO!!! I'm soooo bugged! There weren't hardly any this year and I'm sooooo bugged! I ate some last year and they for sure were super crujientes!!!
2.  All I've heard is that it's been raining fosos down there.  True?  It actually hasn't rained for a while. It's weird haha. Maybe only here in the cap it isn't raining but who knows in other places. Last year it was going soooo hard at this time.
3.  Did you finally get your package?  A big fat nel! But maybe tomorrow in changes!
4.  Let us know if the Markhams do "parents coming down" any differently.  We're close to reserving stuff.
I don't think there will be any problem. I'd actually say that he wants you to come down haha. He's so awesome!!!

Well this week was crazy haha. We totally got earthquaked! I was totally asleep and it was like 5:20 and I thought that my companion was shaking my bed and i was like come on man! But then I realized that he was asleep and that the ground was shaking by itself. I thought, there are two options, Demons or Earthquake. It was an earthquake thank heavens. I'M ALIVE!

We had a good week other that the fact that they took my feet out from under me and are changing me! I seriously have no idea where I could be going or what could be happening. But it's all good. Dios sabrà right! (God Could know) I'm excited and super nervous. Pte Markham talked to me yesterday and said that I am going to love my change and I feel Like it has something to do with an area or ward that I was in before. I haven't been this nervous for changes in a while! I guess we'll see.

I'm glad you had an awesome 4th of july. Honestly I almost forgot about it.... The mundial is supppper crazy down here. They all want Argentina or Brasil to win but I want Holland and I love messing with them because they get so frustrated haha It's awesome.

I thought I was going to stay and we had some miracles coming up and I'm a little disappointed to leave them and the people that we are teaching but it's all good in the hood. The zone has a lot of weird changes and we'll see que ondas ahi.

We had an awesome conference with President Markham this week and he talked about a bunch of stuff that helped me a lot. As I walked in, I felt like I was going to have to talk if they were to call out randomly and have people talk, sure enough they did, and sure enough I had to talk. I gave my testimony to the rest of the missionaries and it was a really cool experience to see how much I have really changed in my testimony of this Gospel and my love for these people. President came up to me after the meeting, gave me a huge hug and said " you got the message didn't you?" Refering to me talking. It was soooooo cool. Man President Markham and Sister Markham are soooo great.

I'm sad to leave the zone. I love this place. I've been in this zone for 6 chages now and I know literally everyone in the stake haha. We will come here to see General Conference! I went to El Carmen this week and got to see my converts. Man I love that place. I get more baggy for that place than I do for home... Hermana A will be going to the temple soon and I'll be able to go with here. That' is going to be very satisfying.

Well Jovenes! I love you all! Muchas Gracias! Jesus! Those are the most important words we can say in this life. I love you. Thank you. Jesus.

BUENO!!!!!!!!

New Mission President

July 1, 2014

Hey everyone.....

Questions:
1.  Did you get your package?  No I haven't gotten it though but I don't know when I'll get it but I could really love some good candy. I've been wanting it haha.
2.  How did your baptism goal/baptisms end up? We baptized 34 this month and the goal was 42 so we did good. It's just the retention in the zone is super bad haha but we are working on it.!!

I need the money for my suit. I should have it soon. You guys are gonna love it. The guy said that dad could make one in a week so that should be good.

Well here's the news everyone has been waiting for. OUR NEW MISSION PRESIDENT IT THE BEST!!!!! Man this guy is the coolest guy ever. I can't imagine that a change of a mission president is going any smoother. SOOOOOOO AWESOME. He has such a strong spirit and he just is the nicest, loving man ever. His wife is so great too. it's a big change but not really that much. He is a lot different but We are all loving him a lot.

We had a stake baptismal service this sunday and we invited President and his wife and they came and it was so awesome to see him. He just grabbed me and gave me a huge hug and said he loved me and it was just like, "this is going to be so awesome" I had just ran like 3 miles to get there late haha and we were sweating like straight pigs and it was so great. So awesome!
Hermana Markham just came up to me today in the meeting today that we had with the leadership and shook my hand and said, "You're a great man Elder Hanson, You're a great man" It was so awesome. I don't think it could be going better.

Our investigators are struggling right now haha. I love my area and don't want to leave. I will know next week if I am leaving or not. Elder Finch won't tell me at all. I hate it haha. But we'll see. Pray for me to stay.

Nothing really is happening right now. I love it as much as ever. I sometimes look at the calendar and want to cry haha. Satan is a sucker. Man towards the end he just gets right on it to screw up all that you have done in the past few months. But there will be no screw ups here. I'll keep it realllllllll!!!

I love you all! Thank you so much for everything. I hope to hear from you soon! LOLOL

I DID IT BROOOO!!!!!

June 24, 2014

Hey everyone.......

Well this week was a packed week of literally everything. Tears. Fears. Thrills. Chills. CRAZZZZZZYYYYY

Questions:
1.  Will the missionaries get to say goodbye to the Broughs? I will write about that a little bit more
2.  When are changes?  You might be outta there, huh? We have changes on the 9th. I don't know what is going to happen. I feel like it could go either way. I sure hope to stay but who konws. I will try and get Edler Finch to tell me!
3.  Update us on your baptism goal for June. Everything is going great. We need 16 this weekend to get to 42 in the zone. We would be the most successful zone when we do that. Everything is looking great!!!
4.  Did your planned baptizos go down yesterday? YES  LLLOOOOVEVVEEEE ITTTTT

Well I am going to need one more bottle of contact solution before the fin sooo.....

Well I finished another HHHUUUGE journal. I haven't missed a day yet and don't plan on missing one! Everything is gooooodddddd.

This week in Tuesday we went to Antigua and went to a place to eat that is called Mono Loco and it was AWESOME!! It's like a huge nacho place and I will send pictures a little later. Antigua is the sickest place ever. I can't wait to hit it up again. I've only been twice. There are missionaries that have gone like 10 times haha. I can't get enough of the gringos there. It's soooo awesome.

We then on Wednesday had out going away conference with President. It was soooooooo sad to say the least. It was one of the limited times that I had cried on the mission. I've come to love them soooo much. At least we'll be close by the rest of our lives. It was so great. Some super personal spiritual stuff happened and he personally told me some awesome stuff that I'll tell you sometime else. It was so great. We were all sooooo baggy but soooooo baggy.

Then we had huge miracles happen. I & M got baptized. This lady is the biggest trooper I know (other than my own mom). She was with here dirt bag husband for a long time and he would never get married to her. After a little while she was fed up and she kicked his sorry butt out. Leaving here with 7 kids under the age of 15 without a job. She is fighting soooo hard but as she has trusted in God and done what she needs to do, she's been able to prosper. Promise of the Book of Mormon. So awesome. I forgot my sandals and had to walk barefoot. Yes the burlas weren't scarce.!!! BAUTIZAMOS!!!!!!

We have 2 hopefully 3 for this weekend. E and L and K. We're going to get it done. We just have to trust in the Spirit and that he is going to help us know what we need to teach to get them to get it done. We're going to get it done!!

Man I love this place. I love it so much. Have a great week this week. I LOVE YOU!!

hey

June 16, 2014

Hey everyone...

Preguntas:

1.  How is your Zone doing on your baptism goal? We're doing well. We have 16 so far and everything is going well for this weekend and the biggest goal right now is that every single companionship in the mission baptizes. We're doing well here in the zone. Elder Hintze is in a rough area and opening it so we're praying for him hard haha.
2.  Do you feel like you'll get a change before it's all over? I think I'll stay here one more change with Elder Hernandez and then I'll be out. I'm gonna try hard so that President lets me go back to one of my old areas that would be sooooooo awesome.
3.  Are your Carmen people going to the Temple soon? I don't know as of right now, I haven't heard from them. Just that they go before I leave that's all I want haha.

Well this week was great. A bunch of ups and downs and we are fighting soooooo hard to baptize this month. It's been 6 weeks since I've baptized and that's not good for me haha. We will baptize this week. E totally flaked out on us this week and one day that I was on divisions, the lessons was totally wrecked and he didn't get baptized this weekend but next weekend for sure!!! We also have Ingrid and Michael (her son) for this weekend. super cool. We have to baptize this weekend at all costs haha.

The bishop came up to be yesterday in church and was like "Elder tell me what your shoe size is right now! I honestly can't stand seeing you in those shoes!" So I had to tell him. I don't want new shoes!! My shoes are super wrecked haha but they don't have holes or anything, just super super worn out and I love it. But the members take good care of me here. Every little thing that they see, they ask me if they can buy it for me haha it's funny. That's just what happens. I love the bishop here. He's the greatest dude ever.

We are going to Antigua tomorrow and that is why I am emailing today! that's gonna be fun. Noah is leaving and that makes me feel sooooo weird. So crazy haha. He'll do great.

It's super hot haha at least when it doesn't rain. The rain this week has been sooooooo crazy and soooooooo strong. This friday i was in divisions and we just got straight wrecked in the rain haha. It was in an area of only mud too and we were just so crazy running around in the street.

Everything is good here. No tengan pena. I love it and love the area and am going hard as usual. LOVE YOU ALLLLLLLLLL!!!

2.  Does he need anything? No he's good.
3.  How many does Villa Hermosa have to get wet to llevar a cabo the 300 Alma's? The goal is 42 bautizos and we gonna get it done baby!!!!!
4.  Do they still have "Lift"?  It's an aguita that I used to like.  Sort of like Fresca.  Or Fanta Uva was a classic as well. I LOVE LIFT!!!!!!! hahaha that's so awesome. You're gonna have to come down and get some. Si diosito lindo lo permite!!
5.  Marvin Gomez from Mariscal (keeping that one alive). I will ask around, as I have been. i have no idea where he could be.

Well this week was full of turns haha. We have had 3 investigators that have moved out of our area that were FOR SURE baptizos. SUCKS!! But we are good and we are going to baptize this weekend and end the drought right now in the area. As a zone we are struggling a little bit but everything is going well and we have a lot of set dates for this weekend and next weekend!!! We're gonna get it done if you know what I mean!!!

I talked to the suit maker guy this week and it turns out that he can make a suit in a week. We jsut need to go with him the thursday that you guys get down here and he will make it befor we leave!!! Killa. Also there is a  guy that makes things with Leather and it's super sick and I'll take you guys to him too so he can make you the stuff.

We are doing well in the area. I am having so much fun with my companion and we are working super hard as usual. The zone is good and we are going to get our goal!!!!!

These pictures are of my sick new shirt that i found in a sick paca and the view from the house to El Carmen. I love that place. I'm going on divisions with an Elder from my group in the CCM today and we are going to absolutely killllllllll it!!!!!!!

WHHHHHAAAATTTTTTT UPPPPPPP

June 3, 2014

hey everyone....

THis week was a wild week of crazy surprises.

First of all my new companion is named Elder Hernandez and he is from Peru. I love him haha we were already good friends. He reminds me sooooooo much of Felix hahahaha he's like the same person. Then on Thursday they threw us another Elder Hernandez to be with us for a couple of days before he got sent home. Needless to say, these days with me were very long for him. That was interesting. Don't do stupid things on your missions. Just be obedient. We will be getting another one of those today in the afternoon. IT's kind of a drag but it's all good. It's gonna be a great change.

We had our last mission leader council with President Brough yesterday and that was really interesting. It is so hard to believe that he is leaving! He has changed my life so much. Hna Brough reminds me soooooo much of mom. Just obedient and awesome. I've learned so much from them and I will continue learning from them. They go home on the 27th of this month. Crazy. President talked a lot about Loyalty to the Lord and whoever is called, we have to support them. Even if we don't agree with it. It was awesome. The zone did well. We almost got our goal. We baptized 23 this month and we have the goal to baptize 42 this month. It's gonna be great!!!!!!

Evelin didn't get baptized and saber what is going on with her. She got fired from her job because the boss didn't like that we were talking to her and visiting her. Some members offered her work and we are trying to get in contact with her so she comes back and gets baptized. IT would be a shame if she didn't get baptized. She is seriously a chosen one.

My 2 kids are district leaders! Super pilas. I now have 3 grandkids and we'll see if I can get a great grandkid before I leave haha. I love this area. I hope I'm here till I go home. It would be sweet.

We have right now. Sofia, Ingrid, Pablo, Evelin, Rudy, Edgar, Luis. They are going to be baptized this month! Pray for them! They will thank you in the next life.

Crazy that Noah and Hunter are leaving on their missions haha. Holy crap! That doesn't even click in my mind! Theyare going to be great. Lots of things to learn. Super cool about the little party at Gabe's grave. So nice of his friends. I'm sure he was there, and if he wasn't, he was with me :).

I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all you're support. HAve a great week this week. LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Well......what's up?

QUESTION TIMEEEEEEEEE

Questions:
1. Change? Well My comp is outtttttttt!!! I'm seriously sooooo happy that I'm staying!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

3. How are your investigators coming along?  Everything is going well with the investigators. We found this girl the other day that went to church and is getting ready to be baptized on the 8th. Super pilas her name is Evelin. She's gettinnnnnngggg DUNKEDDDDDDDD
4. Marvin G from Mariscal pop up anywhere? No.... :( not yet at least!
5. What have you been doing on P-days lately? We never do anything hahahah. Unless we go on an activity with the zone or the district, we just go and do some shopping and go home and clean and wrrite in the journal and sleep. My body is sooooo wrecked that I don't know what the heck to do if I don't get a nap on Monday.
6.  When is the Brough's send-off down there? They leave on July 1st. I have no idea what we are going to do for it. We'll just have to see i guess right???!!!!!!

Highlight of the week was definitly my trip to El Carmen. Man I love that place soooooo much! It was the best thing ever. I was super super super happy to know that two of my converts are planning to go to the temple soon and that they are colaborating so that they go the same day so that i can go with both of them!!!! WHOOOOOOOO It's Aidee (most chosen person that I've met in this country) and Angelica. Man that made me so happy. i got dinner twice up there and I jsut worked my butt off haha. It was so awesome. I'm so happy that I'm staying so that I can be able to go again next change.

My comp is out. Who knows what's up there haha. He isn't too happy. I'm like overly happy haha I don't know if that's exactly fair....but i'm happy. He'll be alright after crying for a little. He was a good companion.  We got along great and worked super hard though. that's what matters.

Man i feel like I've been soooooo boring lately haha. I just never have anything to say. I feel like just yesterday i had changes and getting a new comp. We'll see what happens. I could be here until i finish the mission. I would looooooove that!

Just know that i'm working hard and that I love the Lord. I think that's all you need to hear and the rest is good. Thanks for everything that you do for me and for all the love. Also yesterday I heard "You must whip it" While I was getting my haircut and thought of mom hahahahaha man I jsut laughed my butt off. Also i will have beautiful fingernails when I get home because I have ALMOST stopped. Proud? I know :)! I lLOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

umm...

May 20, 2014

Hey everyone.....

Question timmmmmmeeeeeee

Questions:
1.  Will your comp go this change?  We have changes for sure we just don't know who is going to leave. That's the advantage of being like best friends with the secretary and the assistant haha they won't tell me anything more. I'll let you know next week!!!!!! I just hope I stay.
2.  Any word on whether the Brough's will report their mission anywhere?  I have no idea at all. It crossed my mind to ask him but I didn't. I'll see what I can do there.
3.  Any more thought to the college stuff? I will have an answer for you this next week. I need to pray hard about it and maybe fast and I'll let you know!.
4.  Do you hear from Diaz at all?  Yeah I have heard from him a little bit. He's kind of a chambon and doesn't write me all the time but he's good!

Well this week was straight packed of craziness!!!

We had interviews with President Brough for the last time and I just wanted to die. I love this man so much and he presonally has changed my life. He talked to me about how the mission has changed the way that I look at a girl to choose her to be my wife hahaha I was like.....do you really want me to answer that?? That is one of the things that has changed so much in me. I talked to him a little bit about that and here is an exact quote "well Elder Hanson, just remember that you still need to marry someone that you're attracted to!" and we just sat there and laughed for a second. I love him haha. We then watched a siiiiiiiiiick new movie that I guess the church just put out. Probably super ancient out there but it's called "Ephraim's Rescue" Man it was AWESOME!!!!!

I feel like if I stay here this change, I could be here for the rest of the mission. I HOPE! Everything is going well in the area and in the zone. I am going to El Carmen today!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!! That is going to be so great. I thought that if it is even a chance that I leave this area, I've gotta get over there before! So we're gettin it done.

I imagine that mom was super super pilas on here speech. Super tough situation but I'm sure she got it done. I don't remember who Art Neilson is. Refresher? Thanks. Crazy that school is almost over! I can't even believe that. I feel like yesterday I graduated haha.

Mom's biking stories always make my day hahahahahha I can just imagine here getting it done on her bike. We're going to go biking! I'm sure my bitt is chafed enough to put up with the bike seat. That's what 2 years of boo will do for you.

If you send me a package any time soon, send me some cadbury eggs if you can find them.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! Can't even believe that he is ready to legally drive. Tha's so weird. hahaha. COOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL

Sorry I don't have any pictures for you guys today. We haven't taken any this change haha. But that's okay right? I'm just working instead.

Love you guys all soooooooo much!! I hope everything is just straight nítido por alli! Thanks for all the support and everything that you do for me!!! LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE YOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
