Hey everyone.....

Question timmmmmmeeeeeee

Questions:

1.  Will your comp go this change?  We have changes for sure we just don't know who is going to leave. That's the advantage of being like best friends with the secretary and the assistant haha they won't tell me anything more. I'll let you know next week!!!!!! I just hope I stay. 

2.  Any word on whether the Brough's will report their mission anywhere?  I have no idea at all. It crossed my mind to ask him but I didn't. I'll see what I can do there.

3.  Any more thought to the college stuff? I will have an answer for you this next week. I need to pray hard about it and maybe fast and I'll let you know!.

4.  Do you hear from Diaz at all?  Yeah I have heard from him a little bit. He's kind of a chambon and doesn't write me all the time but he's good!

Well this week was straight packed of craziness!!!

We had interviews with President Brough for the last time and I just wanted to die. I love this man so much and he presonally has changed my life. He talked to me about how the mission has changed the way that I look at a girl to choose her to be my wife hahaha I was like.....do you really want me to answer that?? That is one of the things that has changed so much in me. I talked to him a little bit about that and here is an exact quote "well Elder Hanson, just remember that you still need to marry someone that you're attracted to!" and we just sat there and laughed for a second. I love him haha. We then watched a siiiiiiiiiick new movie that I guess the church just put out. Probably super ancient out there but it's called "Ephraim's Rescue" Man it was AWESOME!!!!!

I feel like if I stay here this change, I could be here for the rest of the mission. I HOPE! Everything is going well in the area and in the zone. I am going to El Carmen today!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!! That is going to be so great. I thought that if it is even a chance that I leave this area, I've gotta get over there before! So we're gettin it done.

I imagine that mom was super super pilas on here speech. Super tough situation but I'm sure she got it done. I don't remember who Art Neilson is. Refresher? Thanks. Crazy that school is almost over! I can't even believe that. I feel like yesterday I graduated haha.

Mom's biking stories always make my day hahahahahha I can just imagine here getting it done on her bike. We're going to go biking! I'm sure my bitt is chafed enough to put up with the bike seat. That's what 2 years of boo will do for you.

If you send me a package any time soon, send me some cadbury eggs if you can find them.....

Hi everyone.....

This week was great and seeing that there are no questions I guess I won't write much.

I'm doing great. As you could SEE I'm pretty skinny hahaha. But that will only get worse unless I get onto my muscle milk diet...... oh wait, that doesn't exist here hahahaha. good joke. 

We have this guy named Mario that is getting ready to get baptized on the 25th. He is pretty solid. He wants to get baptized with his wife but his wife is not interested at all haha so that's not gonna happen right now. He is pilas though. He'll be baptized.

I love it here. The members are awesome. I hope I stay here. Love life!

We went to the temple yesterday and it rained like CRAZY!!!!!!! It was so insane. We got to the temple and were just straight soaking wet. It was so funny. I love the temple. I love it so much. We are so blessed to have temples so colse to the house. I'll never take that for granted again. I'm gonna be in the temple so much that the workers are gonna get sick of me asking if I can watch it in spanish. LOVE IT!

I pretty much just saw you like yesterday and I loved it! It was a little weird. I had nothing to say and it was just like a staring contest. Love it. But it was good to see youfor the first time in 20 months! I loved the YOMO shirts too. SUUUUUUUCH a nice touch. LOVED IT!!

Hi everyone.....

Here go the questions....

Questions (that really are questions):

1.  When does Pres.  Markham report for duty?  Is it the end of July? President Brough leaves on June 1st. Which makes me want to cry haha. I had a good talk with him the other day and I don't want him to leave haha. President Markham will be good though. 

2.  Did you order your suit? Yeah I got it ordered. It's SOOOOOOOO SICK. We will see when it gets done hahaha estos chapines....

3.  Do you think you will get a change sometime down the road, or finish in Prados? I bet I'll have one more change before the change. Hope to go to the coast. But I would love to stay here in this area until the end. I like it a lot here.

Well this week was another awesome week. We seem to be walking more and looking for more investigators more and more tired every day, but we are seeing the miracles from it. It was very rewarding to see 3 of God's children be baptized this Sunday. We got it done!!

CANNOT BELIEVE THAT NOAH HAS HIS MISSION CALL!!!!!! OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! That is sooooo awesome.

We got a new video that we are now able to use with the investigators and converts here called "Because of Him" I imagine that you've all seen it but it is soooooooooo great. So strong about our Savior. I just sat there and was sooo amazed at what it said and the scriptures and the pictures and videos. I loved it all soo much. It is so great to know and realize that because of Him, we have all that we have, Physical and temporal. He loves us so much. As he took the beatings, all there were was love. I can't even fathom what he suffered. I love him and that's why I'm here. That's why I work hard.

It was a hard month in April as we all thought it would be. In the mission leader meeting we saw what happened. We repented and we will do it better this month. We baptized 11 in the zone this weekend and we have like 10 more for this weekend. It's looking good for us right now.

We have a wedding/baptism for this weekend. Her name is Sofia and she's super great. Just needs to get her wedding on and it's alllllll gooooooooodddddd..

So weird that mother's day phone call is this week haha. It's going to be cool to see how it turns out. There are going to be soooooo many missionaries crying like little baby girls. I can't wait!!!!!!! WHOOOOOO!O!!!!!!

We had zone training today and it was about focusing on the Spirit a little more and not relying upon our own strength. I feel like that is one of our biggest faults as human beings. It's amazing how the Spirit can guide us. He guides us without us even knowing that he is guiding us. We jsut end up in a door or talking to someone without it even crossing our mind and there is a chosen one. SOOO cool.

Well this week was miracle FILLEEEDDDD!

Questions.....that aren't really even questions....

1.  We would like to go to the Brough's homecoming if they have one.  If we could get the address to their ward and when it will be when that becomes available. I don't know if they are going to have one haha. Knowing them the might not. But I will keep you updated on it. They don't even have a house in Utah haha so I don't know what they will do.

2.  Comp/investigator/zone updates. 

We are doing well here in the area. My comp is awesome. The investigators are there! We just need to get them in the water. We had 3 for this weekend. Kenny, Jonatan and Hansel. They are sons of a less active lady that are sooooo stoked for their baptism. Then we have Sofia the one I was talking about the other day. Her little brother Gerardo. Then we have The S family taht is gettin it done. Cristofer and Janet a little family that are getting it done!! We're gonna do it this month in may!

4.  Any news from Tejar at all? The sisters are super pilas. The last I heard of Luis was that he just wasn't progressing at all. His kids wanted to but it was just hard without him doing it. The kids I guess almost got baptized. But who knows! God knows what he wants from his children!

This week we had some straight miracles happen! Super blessed this week. 

A Guy named Francisco, that we hadn't had contact with for a long time got to church last Sunday and just said, I haven't smoked for a while and I want to be baptized!!!!! And we were like, "LET'S GET IT DONE!!!!!!" So the whole week we were trying soooo hard to look for him and get him taught the last little things that we needed to teach him before his baptism. We couldn't find him at all! Then on friday we found him at like 8:57 in his house finally. We taught him what he needed to know and RANNNNNN home like 2 miles up straight hills to get in before 9 30. It was crazy and a huge miracle. Saturday, the day of his interview, we couldn't find him hahahaah. We finally found him in his house and talked to him and he said, " let's wait until toimorrow!" and I said nooooooo way man. We're getting it done tonight. Called the ward mission leader and he came to pick us up. As he was coming, Francisco's wife showed up! She is just the most pleasent lady in the world haha NOT!! and then we had to leave. We just got up and were like "lady we're taking your husband with us!!!!" and we bounced. It was awesome. He passed his interview and got baptized that same night!!! HUGE HUGE HUGE MIRACLE!!!! I'm just so grateful with my Heavenly Father for that miracle. We worked so hard this month and it just didn't go too well. But we kept the faith and our Father blessed us big time.

The zone is doing good. We are working hard and seeing some results. I feel like this month in May is going to be HUGE!! Stoked for it. It's crazy how fast time is going by. Almost half the change is almost over and I feel like it just started. I wanna stop the train and get off and get on again at the start but that's just not how it works haha. I love it here. Love the people sooooo much. They are just so funny. I'm so glad that The Lord has blessed me with this calling to be in this country serving his children and working my butt off. I will come back skin and bones skinny haha. I just hope I go to the coast again hahaha.

In the next package that you guys mandarme, I need some ties. Haha I just like to give a lot of them away and now I only have my really special ones and need some new good ones!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!

hey everyone.....

THIS WEEK WAS OFFFFF TTHHHHHEEEE HOOOOOKKKKKK....

Questions:

1.  Where did Finch end up? Elder Finch is about 20 minutes away from my in Boca del Monte as Assistant. He's killin it! I still talk to him like every day haha it's great.

3.  Tell us how you and Suarez are doing with your investigators. We are working hard with 3 investigators for this weekend named Francisco L, Geovanny C, and Sofia M KILLLLAAAAAA We have to baptize this weekend because we just have to baptize this month haha.

4.  Anyone in Prados heard of a guy from Mariscal named Marvin Gomez? No I don't think so. But I will get my ask on baby!!!!!

Well It was a little tough this week because of the Semana Santa haha. No one was in the house. We found a ton of new investigators but it wsa hard because all of our investigators were in the beach getting their party on. We worked through it though and had a good week. 

We haven't baptized this month. Not acceptable haha. We hav ethree good possibilities for this weekend and I know that we will get it done.

It is weird to go from Gringo to latin again haha. I find myself talking to him in English all the time hahaha. Its' way funny. He seriously is soooo great. It is just different with a white boy. Count your blessings baby.

Sooooo good to see the pictures of Adam and Gus at church. I love Adam. Always have. He's such a great guy and it's so great that he is getting back into the path. Great uncle.

We just worked hard this week. It's starting to get really really hot haha. I love the heat. It just turns me into straight skin and bones! I'm getting super skinny hahaha. I hope that my next area is on the coast. I miss the people there haha.

There's really not much to write. I had a good week and I'm happy as ever. So thankful for all that The Lord has given me. The Scriptures have helped me so much. I've grown soo much in every which way. I love the people. I love the country. I love my family and friends. I love my God. Have a great week!!!!!

Hi Everyone.....

Well here we go with the craziness.... 

1. Any chance you get to visit Antigua this week?  No we're not going up. I feel like it would be supppppeeerrrrr sweet. But we won't go down there at alll. I don't think that president would like that very much haha

3.  Any word on changes? Well I'm emailing right now. Just about 1 hour after getting to the area with my new companion!! I'll let you know!!

4.  How is your zone doing? Yeah man!!! Doing super good out here. We are a little slow with the craziness of March just beacuse we baptized literally everyone that we had ready in the last month. But we're actually doing really well right now.  

5. Any chance to visit the folks in the Carmen? Well I went last week. Best divisions of my life!!! I'll talk more about that a little later.

Well I'm a double grandpa!!! Both of my kids, Elder Hintze and Elder Hernandez, are training!!!!! Super proud of them. I'll hit you up with a picture of my kids and my grandchildren next week!!! So stoked for them!!!

Well this one you're going to like.....especially dad....... We're using Skype for mother's day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well that's going to be so awesome. We don't know much about it but we will let you know when we know haha. but we need you to make an account so that we can talke!!!! WHOOO.

It was seriously sooooo sick to be here with Elder Finch. I love that guy haha he's such a great missionary and we worked soooooo hard and had a ton of success. My new companion is named Elder Suarez! He's from Honduras! He's super sweet. We will get along great and have a great change. I knew the whole time that he was going to be my companion. haha I just felt it all along. Didn't really know him but I knew it! Super sweet guy. We're going to have a lot of fun.

Elder Sorenson is a new zone leader!!!!!! No one saw that coming and we are all soooooooo stoked for him. He is going to do a great job. And he's in Antigua which is sick. Killer. That's pretty much it. Last night we left with the new Elders that were coming to the mission their first day and we killed them. It was so great. I left with a kid that was literally the CLONE of Colin. SOOOOOOOO awesome. hahahahah I just was laughing the whole time. Same face, nose and smile. So funny.

I went to El Carmen this week!!!!!! The best day ever. I just loved to be there and see how hard I worked there. I worked my butt off haha. And now I got to see the fruits of my work. So much of what I was working with went through after I left. They remembered me and it was jsut so nice to know that I had done something there. It was frustrating there sometimes because everything just fell through al the time but we just worked our butts off. But it was soooo good to be down there. So great. Well I have to go now. Hi everyone.....

This week was nice. Suavesito.....

Questions: (warning: I'm gonna say the H word:Home)

1.  Update on your investigators. 

We really have hardly anyone hahaha. There is a lady named Liseth and her daughter named Paola and a kid named Javier(reminds me a lot of Gabe) That's about it. We threw it down in March.

2.  Update on your companions and when changes are. 

We have changes on the 16. Elder Finch is out and I am going to get a latin. Saber who it is but it's nice to have the hook ups in the office haha. Elder Carcamo left on Wednesday. Weird without him haha.

3.  Did you watch conference in English or Spanish? 

I watched it in English. It doesn't even compare in Spanish. It was soooooo awesome.

4.  When is your release date, to the best of your knowledge?  

Yeah I hve to go to Tikal. My last change day is the 1st of october. It will be conference weekend I think. 

5.  Are any of your people from Sipacate or Carmen temple-ready? 

Yeah there are actually a couple. Aidee Cabrera is doing great and that will go down within a couple months. I would like to go with her and her family.

Well Conference was AWESOME!! I loved Pte Uchtdorf's talk about gratitude. I am really not the most grateful person. Also Elder Bednar threw it down!!! The testimony of Elder Holland!!!!! CHILLSSSS!!! and Your boy Pte Packer and his testimony. Loved it. So much.

We had a good week. Worked hard as usual. It's nice to be with just Elder Finch. Now we just work at our own pace and it's so nice. I LOVE IT!!! Changes are going to be weird. Not stoked haha. 

We went to Lake Amatitlan this week for zone p day. That was sick. a lot of cool stuff to do there. I don't have much time that's why I'm going hard hahaa.

We are doing well. I love Elder Finch and we are doing well together. He won't be going too far because the office is just right around the corner hahaha. We don't know yet where he's going but I know he's gonna be the assistant.

CRAAAAAY That Nicolle finishes the mission tomorrow haha. I can't even fathom that. Weird that it is so close but it seems so far. I hardly focus on it and try to throw it out of my mind. But it's getting to that time and it's so weird. I love the mission so much. I've grown so much in every aspect of my life. I'm just a better person. I just understand the importance of good hard work and will never let it go. I love my Savior and My Heavenly Father. I know that Gabe is up there watching over us. It is weird for me to think about that he isn't there with you guys. I feel like I'm gonna get home and he' going to be there. I think that's why I don't want to go home. I'm just really scared of that. I miss him but The Lord is doing exactly what Elder Bednar talked about, carrying my burdens. They are still there, I just don't feel them because of my Savior.
